Napoleon Die-Namite
So I found this humorous link buried in the discussion boards for Napoleon Dynamite on imdb. Apparently, Jon Heder, the actor who plays Napoleon, is not dead. You know, just in case you were wondering.
I love snopes. I used to read it all the time, and then I guess I kind of forgot it existed. Until now. I wonder how long I'll remember it this time around...
Hey, guess what. I heard William Hung died of a heroin overdose! Crazy shit.

wow.. looks like the hungettes are out of work... where else are they going to find an untalented asian boy with bad teeth to dance for?
there's always marky mark.
I used to LOVE Marky Mark! That's probably part of the reason why I love Boogie Nights and I Heart Huckabees as much as I do....
i think he could use some back up dancers... then again, couldn't we all use back up dancers? or at least a theme song.
That'd be cool if everytime I stepped into a room, my theme song would start playing...I wonder what it would sound like? What would your theme song be?
the theme from the tv show SWAT... very authoritative and masculine.
Reminds me of that episode of Family Guy where Peter has the Genie give him theme music… and no bones.
I think I my theme song would have to be "Woo Hoo" by the 5, 6, 7, 8s.
I don't feel like there's any one song that could possibly encompass all of me. Maybe a Missy Elliott song, like "I'm Really Hot" or something...
I enjoy pissing off my teenage daughter by singing "Woo Hoo" when she goofs up. She hates the song, naturally. And actually, we get along and like just about all of each other's music... we just disagree on "Woo Hoo", which I happen to LOVE.
This is a nice blog. I don't recall how I got here, it was probably from reading a comment by Busty on another of the blogs I frequent.

Too many typos in the last try probably due to too much wine. I will try again:
I notice you like the Pixies. I love "Doolittle" and got my 16-year-old (my younger) daughter into them. Good to see you are also a VU fan... "Sister Ray" is one of my favorite all-time great sloppy drinking/stoner songs. I don't have the Warhols' latest, but I have "13 Tales", and our band loves to play "Bohemian Like You".
It looks like you could tolerate just about everything in my MP3 player (all 5618 songs, all added during fits of OCD-ness). Some of my current favorites are Sigur Ros "()", Mars Volta "Comatorium", Arcade Fire "Funeral", Earlimart and Nick Cave... but there are simply way too many good artists to mention!
Looks like you're a Quentin fan. I like his stuff, especially "Jackie Brown" and "Kill Bill 1". I'm also a huge Coen Bros. fan, and I also love Python, Christopher Guest and fantasy sci-fi stuff. Filmmakers who dare to be different deserve the glory, IMHO. and if you like "different" and you haven't seen "Cannibal! The Musical" you MUST be sure to see it.
Also, thanks for visiting my site. I added my e-mail after your comment in case you wanted to ask some questions about speech-language therapy.
Ahh it may have been my blog snaver. I followed Busty through the rabbit hole and got here. Man its like meeting a really good friend in a really strange place! Although I do feel a tad over dressed.
Kind of refreshing to read things other than the 'blog politik'.
Bugger it back to the fight.
Snave: I completely LOVE the Pixies. Doolittle is a great album - it was for a long time my favorite Pixies album, but right now it's Surfer Rosa. I can listen to them all day and all night and not get bored! I do also love Velvet Underground and the Dandy Warhols - I often put all my songs from those three bands (which is probably close to every song out there) into a playlist and listen to them all randomly mixed together. It's very good music to be stoned to. I do also like Quentin, you're right...
Is this like Wonderland or something, being as you got here through the rabbit hole? Where everyone is high on different kinds of drugs and offering their different fucked up perceptions? If so, that'd be awesome.
And, Lumnius - has Snopes ever helped you win anything good?
I bet your mom does!
